NK Cable Systems

Control & Instrumentation Cables

Control and instrumentation cables carry the commands, measurements and low-energy signals that allow electrical and process systems to operate accurately. The range includes multicore control cables and screened multipair instrumentation cables with construction options for electromagnetic protection, mechanical protection and fire performance. CCT considers signal type, conductor resistance, capacitance, screening, segregation and earthing architecture to protect signal integrity throughout the installation.

Applications

  • PLC and distributed-control systems
  • Process instrumentation and measurement loops
  • Motor-control and interlocking circuits
  • Industrial automation systems
  • SCADA and remote-monitoring networks
  • Petrochemical and process plants
  • Manufacturing & material-handling systems
  • Building-management systems
  • Railway and mass-transit control systems
  • Equipment requiring screened analogue or digital signals
